Orlando Florida Home Inspectors have unique challenges. There are many different building types here, and many different sizes, shapes, and condition. If a home inspector does two home inspections in one day in Orlando, he may find himself inspecting a 7,00 sq ft mansion with solar panels, a tennis court, and multiple other add-ons. Then his next home inspection may be a 40 year old home that has not had hurricane straps put on, be using a swamp cooler, and barely a crawl space.
It takes a special type of home inspector to inspect in Orlando. If you are buying a home in the Orlando area, how can you be sure that your home inspector is the right home inspector for the job? It all comes down to talking. Talk with your home inspector. ask him about the home and the area, describe it to him and see if he has a knowledge of that type of building. Also, do your own research. If the home inspector you want has experience on only newer homes than he may not be the right choice for an older home. On the other hand, if you home inspector is experienced in newer homes, and your potential home is newer, than it is likely a good fit. So analyze your home, as well as your needs and expectations, before hiring a home inspector.
