 Formaldehyde is a colorless, pungent-smelling chemical widely used in industries that manufacture building materials and numerous household products. Thus, it may be present in substantial concentrations in indoor environments.
Recently it has been discovered that Lumber Liquidators may have sold products to consumers that contain an excessively high levels of formaldehyde. A google search of the company will turn up many results linking them to health and safety violations. Formaldehyde is known to cause the following symptoms:
